Wow. It's half past midnight and i was just standing on my driveway having a smoke, when i saw a fox trotting down the road with 2 babies tagging along behind it. They gimped about on next door's drive for a bit, then suddenly one of the babies runs right up to me. I stand perfectly still and it just mills around my feet, squeaking and generally messing around! Just before it approached me i'd just taken a big lung full of smoke so unfortunately i had to exhale (baby fox's are great but they ain't worth asphyxiation), then the mum growled and they all bolted :(
What a random, extremely rare and beautiful experience. Sounds stoopid, but i wonder how many people have had a wild baby fox running round their feet in the middle of the night?

*sigh* Another quality party, gone like one of those turds that goes straight down the u-bend: the only evidence it ever happened is that slightly vacant & confused feeling you get, and a bad smell (usually a sore arse as well, but it wasn't one of those kind of parties).
Much pirating fun was had on saturday night. Everyone made a great effort with costumes (even jack, who put a couple of blank cd's round his neck and came as a copy pirate which i found highly amusing) and everyone had a right laugh. I got to see a bunch of people i don't get much time to see anymore and it was great to catch up with them. About 12ish ben came back from a little venture with a huge bag of disco-biscuits, which turned out to be the uber-trippy le sharks :D These things are like eating a bag of mushrooms covered in MDMA, they are the fucking nuts!
Much debauchery was had, but one of my funniest memories was when a few of us decided to go and play football, in full costume, about 5am, with a multi-coloured beach ball :D
Now i'm in work and feel like complete shite but hey, after a great weekend like the one just gone, it was all worth it :) |

Righto, gonna be a quickie becuase i'm in a rush...
Absolutley stupendous birhtday thanks to everyone involved. Spent thursday night getting pissed up with hal, zoe, dee, liz and letty and much fun was had :D
Spent a nice chilled friday with zoe, walking round regents park and sitting in the garden sunbathing and drinking ice cold beer :D
Friday was another messsy night of drunken fun at the Sinden residence, involving Hals patented bloody mary's that have stained ny hands so deeply that i've washed them 10+ times and still the stain won't come out :/
All in all a stonking course of events and tonight should prove to be the icing on the cake, as it's pirate party time at Marks!!!

I have received crucial survival information that apparently is detrimental to the continuation of my existence. I have to move to London ASAP, and read a Noel someoneorother book? So sayeth the Liz. Not much use seeing as i can't even remember the blokes name. Coward? Edmunds? gallagher? ABCDEFGHIJKMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ? (see what i did there? Fecking genius.) Well, at least i can make the london thing work with a little hard work and a lot of tolerance for the fact that living in Essex is much like living out a never-ending episode of a popular british soap opera.
I fucking hate soap operas.
Nuff said.
Oh yeah, my birthday on 11th. Not too sure what the plan is but there have been rumors of a joint pirate party with carly, at the Bard residence. Fuck knows the validity of that statement though. Definitely be in some degenerate piss hole in southend on thursday night. |

Right then, bout time i resurrected this sinking ship of journal. A lot's changed in my life since i last updated so i'll get to that when i update my user info. In brief: i've split with Jo, i don't have the braids anymore *sob*, my dad's moved to Dubai for a few months and may very well be staying there for good and my mum will be selling up and joining him., I'm living back with mum for a few months to save some cash (not having to fork out £800 in bills each month is making this a lot easier).
Went to Hal & Zoe's birthday party on friday and had an awesome time of awesomeness. Had more than my fair share of disco biscuit's and spent the evening loved up to my eyeballs :D All in all 'twas a crazy night with mucho fun had by all present. The only people i knew there were Hal, Zoe, Nicki, Dean and anthony, but i met some wicked people who i shall hopefully be seeing again sometime soon :)
By around 9am saturday, myself and Hal were the only remaining party survivors. We chatted for a few more hours at which point a couple of people woke up and hal went and passed out on top of Zoe, who lately crawled out and joined us in the living room, as it seemed like a better alternative to dying of asphyxiation. I really craved some sleep but knowing i'd be out for the count if i dozed, and having to be in Rayleigh @ 5pm to soundcheck for a gig my band (Hedrush) were headlining with Caleb @ the Mill, i forced myself to stay awake. After a mini pack of pringles, 5 beers and 5 and a half hours later we played a superb gig. About half way through the set we had 50 people bum rush the stage and rock out with us to one of our songs. Guys, if anyone that was there is reading this the we salute you! :D After the gig i called ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) elven_bird met up with her and a bunch of other friends in Southend and ended up having another all nighter with more consumption of disco biscuit's! I was Fuckerd!!!
Roughly 2 Hours sleep in 48 hours later, i was back in Camden ready for the Interlock gig at the BarFly. The gig was great but i was really feeling the burn by about 10pm. First band on were Maleficent [excellent drummer, guitarist and bassist but the 2 vocalists left something to be desired], Interlock [f u c k i n g s u p e r b! 'nuff said.] and finally MAB [awesome all round. Great music and the lead singer has the voice of an angel with some serious anger management issues]. Got back from the gig and greeted Zoe upon her return from a day out in london for her birthday with Nicki, then went and had a much needed meager amount of sleep. I fell into such a deep sleep, it seemed as though i just closed my eyes and opened them again, the only difference being the degree of natural light and Nicki dumping my offensively loud, beeping phone on my chest with a unimpressed grunt. Got up, went to work, suffered, 'nuff said.
And that's that. One stonking weekend, nearly half a stone lost but 10,000,000 gallons of fun gained :)
Time to start planning next weekends debauchery..... |

Yo. Nothing much has happened since my last post. Still stressing about finding a flat and still stuck in this shitty job. Aside from the facts i'm in a pretty good mood. Went to watch the new exorcist film last night and i have to say i was surprised, It was actually pretty good, not too cheesy or overly 'hollywood'. I won't go any further as i cant think of anything to say that won't ruin it for people who want to go see it but it got me thinking about a few things while i was riding the train home this morning:-
Christians say that god loves all of his creations. Now isn't love a human emotion? If god can love then that means theoretically he can't be infallible. Gods love is an opinion. And an opinion cannot by definition be infallible. He is infallible purely through his dominance. Which technically makes all his worshipers his slaves. People worship him because they are afraid god will scorn them. Which sort of portrays him as a megalomaniac dictator. So even if every other aspect of god is infallible he still has one part that isn't. Which means he cannot be infallible. To put a metaphor to it:- if you remove a card from the bottom of a tower of cards the whole thing comes crashing down. And if he so desperately wants his subjects to love him, doesn't that suggest some level of self disbelief? I'm not sure where i'm going with this but its just a little impulse thats been begging to be seen and commented on. I'm not trying to be religious or anti-religious with this and i'm not saying i'm right or wrong so no one get the wrong idea. I'm just thinking out loud.
And NO, i wasn't stoned when i thought of this. |

Hey hey. Well, had a good weekend. Went to the 80's bar above o'neils friday night with jo, ben and jill. The club was packed but luckily we managed to get a seat before the place filled out. Twas a pretty chilled night. Just had a couple of pints and a red bull and vodka so that i could survive slimes on saturday. Did a bit of dancing sober (yes i have a deathwish) and managed to step on the toes of more than a few essex bints in stilletoes (er..can't spell that one). We left about 12, me and jo went back to mine and ben walked jill home. On the way back Jill decided she wanted to go for a walk so they went and sat in the park for a couple o hours and talked (aww bless). Twas the second time they met but the hit off pretty well. Anway, got to get back to work so i'll mnake this quick. Went work on saturday then went home and got back in bed. Jo stayed in bed all day while i was at work and all evening so i was shattered and she was spaced out because she been lying down for about 14 hours. We met Ollie and Louise at prittlewell about 10:30 and went to slimes. Twas my first time and i had a really good time, apart from the fact i was completely shagged by abouy 4am. First time i been clubbing in london without a 'pick me up' for years :o/ But i had enough of all that shit so i better get used to it. We left slimes at half 5 only to find the tube doesn't start till half 7, so we got a night bus to liverpool street and sat in ponti's and had a bacon sarnie and a hot choc till 7 when we could get a train home. Got in at 8:30am and slept till 2 but had to get up and go to band practice in chelmsford. Normally i would say fuck that but I had to go because we have a gig on friday @ the box club in chemsford and we only got 2 practices to get the set sorted (bah). Saw jo last night and watched predator and alien 3 and just monged. Todays ok. Loads of my braids are falling out at the front and this new guy in work, rob is really pissing me off because he won't shut the fuck up >:o( He's a nice guy but today he's being too much of a fucking drama queen. So nothing personal rob but shut the fuck up and get out of my face till you've realised that no one cares.

Grrr!!! Work sucks balls.
As u may have guessed i'm having a bad day. Fell asleep at jo's last night and woke up at 2:30am, then had to get a taxi home because all my work stuff was at mine and i start work at 9am. I got home and couldn't get back to sleep so i just laid in bed sweating till i finally started to doze off. Unfortunatly my alarm went off 30 min later and i had to get ready for work :o( I zombied into work and managed to pour some coffee down my gullet which just gave me a headache. Then to top it all off the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the building. Oh joy of joys. 36 flights of stairs, 2 fags and a VERY large cup of coffee later and words cannot begin to describe how i feel right now. So i have taken some pictures. After all pictures speak louder than words.

Rar. Well just sitting at work at the mo, bored and busy. Had a really good weekend, i shall upload some pictures as soon as i figure out how to. Got my hair re-braided on friday at this afrobeaut shop in town and i looks rad if i do say so myself. Met up with jo after getting my hair done and we went to ollie and lou's place for some smokies, a few rounds of street fighter and a chat. Me and jo went to london on saturday morning and had a really good day. Wemt to camden shopping and bought some stuff for slimelight on saturday night. Then we went to picadilly for sushi, and had octopus for the first time which was suprisingly tasty. Went back home and got changed for slimes then went round ollies and met up with everyone. We went to the station all fired up for a night of dancing and drinking @ slimes only to find that we fannied around too much and missed the last train to london :o( Fuck. I got stressed and tried to get us a 6 man cab to stratford which would have cost £80 but eventually decided to just wait till next weekend. So, we all piled back to ollies and drunk cheap whiskey till 6am then me and jo went back to mine and stayed in bed till 8am monday morning only getting up to use the loo and order chinese. Nice lazy sunday :o) Well i gotta get back to work. I shall update later and sort out my LJ layout. Take it easy peeps. |
